The debate Mac vs PC rages on since nearly the down of time. The initial molecular binding concept was conceived by researchers at UAH and licensed exclusively to GeneCapture. The co-inventors on the original patent included Dr. Krishnan Chittur, professor emeritus in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering; Dr. Joseph Ng, professor in the Biological Sciences Department; Dr. Mark Pusey, UAH adjunct professor; and Jeff Dowell, who at the time was a student in UAH’s graduate program in Biotechnology Science and Engineering. In 2016, GeneCapture was awarded $100,000 in Alabama Launchpad’s inaugural LEAP Alumni Competition for local start-ups. XEN has a very small footprint. It is under 60,000 lines of code. It’s a lean, mean virtual machine, and it is, probably, the best of all the virtual hosts currently available. I say this because it offers ParaVirtualisation, simple installation, near metal performance, and equals the low overhead of XENEnterprise. In fact, some figures show that it is more efficient than XENEnterprise. Patients can even report their symptoms each day, track their medications and schedule follow-up visits. Early results show patients who use the monitoring devices are 44% less likely to be readmitted to the hospital and spend 54% less time in the hospital if they do return. With increase in growth and associated industrial potential, Indian agriculture has now been accorded the status of an industry. The course on Agricultural and Food Engineering aims at producing engineering graduates to meet the requirement of technical manpower in development of farm machines, land and water resources management, agricultural production and manufacture of processed food. In order to meet the present demand of agricultural and food industries, the course has been suitably modified to include specialized training in design, development, testing and selection of tractors and farm implements, irrigation, drainage and watershed management using Remote Sensing and GIS; information technology, processing of food, fodder and fibre, utilization of biomass, byproducts and wastes in the production of biochemicals, fuels, manure and non-conventional energy. The course provides ample flexibility to the students for acquiring expertise in any of the three major areas of specialization, namely, Farm Power and Machinery, Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, and Food Process Engineering. The Pebble owners were very frustrated, but they strongly believed in the free market and that since their goods passed quality-control tests by the government authorities, it would definitely be possible to find a way to sell them. At that time, they knew that many of their fellow migrants were conducting various forms of commercial guerrilla warfare, selling a wide range of China-made products in Australia. The method, characterised by irregular ways of doing business, was widespread from the early 1990s. One good example was a small group of Chinese importers of flooring materials from China, who set an example by using the print media to bypass retail stores.
